Research Coordinator

Aldrich Carmona

Bio

I am currently a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Nicklaus Children's Hospital Research Institute. My journey here began as a Data Assistant, where one of my main roles was to assist Florida International University with patient scheduling for EMU study. Over time, I transitioned into the role of Clinical Research Specialist, where I gained valuable hands-on experience working closely with patients in the community across various specialties, including Nephrology, Endocrinology, Dermatology, Pulmonology, Rheumatology, and the Center for Precision Medicine. I hold a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Business Analytics from Florida International University. Through my work and academic background, I have developed a deep interest in understanding the importance of sleep and its impact on adolescents. Specifically, I am eager to explore how sleep influences daily activities and emotional well-being in this age group, and how it can be used as a tool to promote overall emotional health.
