I am a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Nicklaus Children's Hospital site. I graduated with a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Florida and an M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Florida International University. Previously, I worked for three years as a Research Assistant on the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) study at UF, a longitudinal study investigating adolescent physical and cognitive development, mental health, and substance use. During my graduate training at FIU, I provided clinical mental health services to youth and adults with internalizing and externalizing behavioral concerns. My research interests include pediatric mental health, internalizing disorders, and the impact of sleep habits on emotional well-being, with the goal of contributing to improved mental health interventions for adolescents.
